What Place Value Builder Teaches
Place value is not just naming the hundreds, tens, and ones columns. Children need to understand that a digit changes value depending on its position. In this game, 126 becomes 100 + 20 + 6, so the number is built as a quantity before it is treated as a symbol.
Using It with Kids
